it was about to say that. Just a correction: the stretch from the BA-Backwater border with Piauí is not BR-235, is part of the BR-324, the same coming out of Salvador and Feira de Santana to follow-up Jacobina BA. The BR-235 continues to Campo Alegre de Lourdes-BA, a fork just outside Backwater (left BR-235; right BR-324).

Congratulations on the tour description, the times we desire to know the Serra da Capybara, but had to postpone for a few years, because my princesses born, but this year should I go, they are already with 5 and 7 years and think of us to know this paradise. Oi Cíntia! Glad you are thinking about knowing the Serra da Capybara!! This was one of the places that most impressed us so far in the journey, hope you enjoy and like it very much there!!
About the time we were there, believe that it is worth getting more. As our visit was quick, just not seeing many important parts of the park and, furthermore, could not visit the Sierra Confusions, What is a park next door and that has thousands of cave paintings also! It's worth getting a few 3 or 4 days for lá, is quite something to see… and so did not get much run, gives to make things more calmly and absorb more content also!
On the email tab, unfortunately did not find the contact. But, anyway, to get there in São Raimundo Nonato search by Raphael, it geographer, there are many guides, vai ser fácil encontrá-lo.
